Hi all, I need some advice on feeding my 9 month old Ds, I used to feed him tinned baby food.
I wanted to get off the tins, so have been feeding him weetabix with cows milk, fromage frais yoghurts, bread, toast, vegetables, fish fingers, oven chips, bananas, apple, cheery tomatoes, cucumber, cheese/cheese spread, rice pudding, rice cakes, bread sticks, rusks, tinned spaghetti (not all at once you understand!!)

Have tried mash potato-the only thing he doesnt like.
Have bought some cous cous - is this a good idea?

I need some fresh ideas!

most things you eat mashed up are pretty ok really
mince 'n' totties
steamed/boiled carrots sticks
mashed up stew
baked beans
cauli cheese
porridge with raisins

Thanks, gave him porridge this morning, which he liked - will try the raisins. I just get so bored trying to think of ideas.

Just most things that you eat, maybe chooped/mashed a little. Couscous is great ofr them at that age. Maybe add some cooked, flaked chicken and chopped veggies.

Pasta with baked beans , onion and courgette.

Cook the chopped onions and courgette in a pan , meanwhile boil pasta in another pan. After 5 mins add baked beans to courgette mixture and some water. Simmer . Drain pasta and add to beans, more water if necessary until it reduces down a bit. Total cooking time about 20mins!!

If you want to be virtuous choose sugarfree baked beans and buckwheat pasta , if your not wanting to introduce wheat or sugar at this age.
Otherwise ordinary pasta if preferred.
