I'm bfing dd2 and 3.5 months post birth I am now putting on weight! Bfing makes me really hungry. And I am so tired all the time, and have little pleasure other than nice food.

Ordinarily I'd just start baking nice fruit muffins & flap jacks and granola but I have very little time between dd1 & dd2 to do so. Still feeding in the night which makes me hungry so I tend to snack just before bed. I lose all will power when pg & bfing which is how I am 2 stone over my pre-pg weight. Any tips?

have you thought about having your iron levels tested or even just buying a good supplement ? Feroglobin is excellent as it's iron + b vitamins & minerals.

My friend became very anemic & tired whilst breastfeeding & this was very helpful to her.

Thanks. Fruit just isn't quite enough though!

Not sure about iron levels. What are the symptoms? The tiredness is because I'm getting about 5-6 hours sleep, and the weight is due to the quality and quantity of what I eat - no point denying it! Plus little exercise due to time & tiredness. That said I an due a thyroid test (I'm hypothyroid).

M&S Flapjacks great for milk supply IME. Crackers and cheese.

I wouldn't worry about your weight until you get some sleep.
