Cooking? On a Friday? Tonight DH & I will be sharing Beef in oyster sauce with beansprouts & sauteed mushrooms

i just dished up hot pancakes for lunch with lemon juice and sugar and the whole house fell silent.

you could do a healthier version, forgot i was on mumsnet then

Friday's my day off so I feel a bit guilty for not cooking. at the beef in oyster sauce tho'.

Friday - chippy night!!

cheese or ham sandwiches with apple or banana

cereal or toast if they are still hungry

Vodka obviously not for DD... I'm cooking a beef and ale casserole with dumplings which she can have tonight and I will scoff tomorrow with copious amounts of tiger bread and litres of full fat coke to aid the hangover.

DD4 is cooking at school today so it's vegetable chow mein here

Last night we had a sausage shepherds pie - saw the idea on a thread here a couple of days ago - it was okay but not great or anything - ds who eats anything liked it, but everyone else was a bit mehh about it!

Chippy often on Friday for us.
Got steak in freezer so may do steak, mushrooms, tomatoes, with a big salad to make me feel virtuous, accompanied by lots of red wine!

Ive got a pack of fancy sausages, but no idea what to do with them!

Gammon, new potatoes, peas with ginger and pear upside down cake...yum yum

Spicy chicken wings, salad and onion bread for me and Dh later (after the chaos )

Meatloaf with a mushroom sauce, Potatoes Au Gratin and Green Beans.

Salmon with cous cous. It's a Nigella recipe.

I've found some chicken thighs in the freezer so I think I'll do a curry with a quorn version for DS1.
