How many meals do you have in your repetoire?

Unfortunately people rarely use my name and 'domestic goddess' in the same sentence. However, since recently changing my hours to finish work 4 days a week by 2pm, I'm making a bit more of an effort. Ready meals are almost a thing of the past...

However, I realised we have the same things practically every week, so wrote down all 'my' main course meals and got 23. This included things like lamb chops, salmon fillet as well as 2 different varients on lasagne etc... It seems a bit pathetic...

How many can you do?

I've got a whole load more now I've found mumsnet and Delia on line. I love those "what are you having for tea" threads because that's when I do my menu planning.

Just written down a list and I am at just over 30 that I make fairly regularly although they really come and go in popularity a bit. But DH won't eat fish so that rules a lot of things out.

Off the top of my head only fairly basic stuff like roasts, lasagne, chilli, toad in hole, burgers etc and a fair bit of indian food. With recipes, prob well over 100. I have cupboards full of ingredients and we eat a huge variety of food. I print of recipes of the net and then adapt them by taste. We have a folder in the kitchen full of cut outs and print outs. I use jars and packets, from time to time when I don't have time to cook from scratch. Both me and dp get bored of eating the same thing, and I suppose we wouldnt eat the same meal twice within a month.
