Plse I have a bag of tuna steak frozen from Aldi
My menu plan was for stir fried lemongrass and chilli Chicken with noodles and stir fried veg but the tuna was on offer.
Could I cook the above and just substitute the chicken for the tuna?
I am open to other ideas though
TIA

I am really boring, my fave meal is just tuna with pasta and mayonaise...

yes i would think that would work

we tend to go more nicoise with tuna, but it is nice with french beans with a creamy mustard sauce, and some new potatoes.

Yes, your menu sounds lovely.
I have just had tuna steaks from aldi for my tea. Grin
I just marinated them with olive oil, black pepper, cooked them in the griddle and had them with roast potatoes and some green veg.

Duck, Tuna pasta and mayo is a stable here as well but I am trying to broaden the DC palate or starve them Wink
Catsmamma that sounds nice as well I will take note Grin
Pure I was thinking of roast veg [lazy] but did not want to buy more food just use up what I had. It is good to hear someone else uses them and they are nice.

I love a fresh tuna steak done very simply. Season with black pepper, a dash of lemon and cooked for about a minute either side so still pink in the middle.

Ate one about an hour ago with a jacket potato and fresh dressed salad. Yum!

I love a nicoise salad.

Sear the tuna steak so it is rare inside and cooked on outside. Serve atop:

Boiled sliced new potatoes, wedges of hard-boiled egg, green beans, olives, anchovies, cucumber slices, red pepper slices, tomato wedges and a lovely french dressing, all on a bed of greens.

Barefoot Contessa Indonesian Grilled Swordfish is really nice with tuna instead of the swordfish. One of my tuna faves.
