use as a jacket potato topping?

it's a lot easier than battling with pastry!

Maybe with dumplings?
Though I think your potato idea is the best

Jamie Oliver does a left over stew risotto which is really nice! Always make it when we have left over beef stew! If you google I'm sure you can find it!

Hi, the risotto is in Cook with Jamie. It's a bit long to post, due to the way it's written in the book! Its in 2 seperate sections! Basic risotto which is half cooked plus adding the stew bit and finishing the cooking! his recipe serves 8 so you'd need to scale it down to a quantity to suit you! In reality it's much easier to make than it first seems though.

i've flung in pasta and made a pasta bake-y thing before now....although i tend to do that when it's one serving of casserole and masses of "sauce"

grated cheese/breadcrumbs and herbs on the top, you can do it in the oven too if you like

ooh yum! in the end i topped with sliced potatoes and a bit of thyme - was lovely
