Has anyone made anything from Jamies America cookbook?

DP made the chilli tonight and it was gorgeous!

I have had it for quite a while but yet to try anything. I think the recipes are just a bit out of my 'normal' range of meals. Must dig it out and give something a try.

chicken maryland is fab - DS adores it!

I like reading this book but, like peasandlove, haven't yet made anything as it all sounds slightly strange.

I've bookmarked a few things though to try- the omelette gordon bennett, for one, looks nice & seems simple enough. There's a similar recipe here.

And finally I really like the look of the best baked beans, the chilli con Jamie (!) & the mountain meatballs (mountain meatballs recipe here).
