Brie and cranberry toastie?

Goes well with garlic bread. As an alternative to pickle with some cheeses on a cheese board. With potato cakes. Crusty baguette, brie and coleslaw with cranberry sauce.

add to a chicken gravy for depth of flavour

Put a dollop in casseroles, gravy etc. If you've room in the freezer, freeze it in 'dollops' then just add them as and when

I used our leftovers the other night in a mushroom & cream gravy / sauce to go with swedish meatballs! Was much nicer than it sounds!

It's an ingredient of Nigella's sticky ribs! They would be if dp had anything to do with it

Thanks all - will now have to make more sauce! I really like the gravy ideas as we eat roast chicken most weeks - and the brie/cranberry combo. But trying to get rid of Christmas weight... . Total admission ... have some of last Christmas' sauce at back of fridge (and no, it's not mouldy!!

I mixed some cranberry sauce with mashed beetroot (the vacuum packed cooked stuff) yesterday, really nice saucy/sweet side dish.
