Anything you do with normal beef mince - chilli or bolognaise etc.
Also makes a nice burger - have the recipe if you like.

fry mince with an onion and garlic

add some curry powder (if liked) and salt and pepper

add 3oz long grain rice

add some chopped up new potatoes (about 1" cubes)

add 1 litre of chicken stock

bring to boil and simmer until liquid has been absorbed (takes about 40 mins)

15 mins before end of cooking time add some frozen peas.

It's really quite tasty and I've cooked it with and without the curry powder. I also chuck in other veg that need using up like peppers, mushrooms, courgettes etc.

Yummmmmmmmmm, thank you!

It's a good recipe if you are on a diet - you don't use any fat, you can get away with a small portion of mince and turkey is low fat anyway and you can bulk it up with lots of veg.

It can be made with any mince (just change your stock) and when I'm not watching the calories it is particularly tasty made with lamb mince.

And it's all made in one pot so less washing up Grin
