Rusks

Does anyone give their baby rusks? Everyone keeps going on about how high in sugar they are and not to give them. We all had them as children. Then someone told me today that rusks helped their babies sleep longer.

i think ther are lot more nutrioouse things to give babies than rusks...

it seem like starting them off on the idea that you snack on biscuits if you want my opinion...

bread sticks . rice cakes / fruit and veg sticks are much 'better'

i didn't bother giving DD rusks. i had never seen them before and i found it a weird thing to give to a baby!

i give my dd3 rusks. only half at a time generally or one of the mini ones. she gagged on rice cakes, but have re-introduced them. tbh most ofit goes around her mouth and on the floor.

she also loves toast, apples and bananas.

i love rusks!

i give them as treats, not as a main food. v nice mashed up with banana and milk. also great for thickening up stewed pear or other soggy fruit

you can get reduced sugar ones which are a lot less sweet.
