fresh yeast -- OK to freeze?

Got a load of fresh yeast, and am wondering how to store it? Can I freeze it or does this kill the yeast?

I think it makes it all runny and much less effective but will check in my bread book for you.

As I thought. Will keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.
