i love greek yoghurt mixed with mint sauce and chilli powder, but you dont need a food processor, its yummy with those mini poppadoms though!

You can make a nice dip with smoked fish (eg mackerel or trout), some paprika, some sour cream, some philadelphia cheese (or other cream cheese), some lemon. Very good & dead easy.

Sorry recipe is imprecise but you can google 'smoked fish pate' and you'll find plenty of similar recipes, I'm sure.

Enjoy your new food processor, they're great, I use mine all the time.

Tzatziki usng your precessor to grate the cucumber & mush the garlic. Greek or natural yogurt (big tub - Lidl do the best one), 1 cucumber, 2 or 3 cloves of garlic. Grate cucumber and stick it in a sieve or colander to drain away some of the juice. Crush the garlic. Mix both into the yogurt & add salt to taste. Will be lovely & refreshing after all the heavy festive eating. Serve with toasted strips of pitta bread.

Doesn't need the food processor per se, but this spinach & artichoke dip is wonderful, if massively calorific. Tinned artichokes are much easier to find (have never seen frozen). I made this at request of a friend who lived in the US for a few years, otherwise I would probably have never bothered. The trick is to never tell anyone what is in it until after they have tried it as most would turn their noses up at the mere thought. Honestly it is very good indeed, even though you wouldn't necessarily think so from the ingredients list.
