Quick Pie Question

I'm planning a Steak and Ale Pie for a dinner when we have friends over tomorrow night, specifically this one.

Anyway, I don't have a pie dish, do you think I could do it in a rectangular dish a bit like this without the handles.

Or do I need to pop out tomorrow to try to buy one?

it doesnt look very deep your pastry to filling ration may be a bit high

I've taken another look at it and mine isn't straight sided, it's wider at the top.

Think I might have to pop out tomorrow to try to get a pie dish, trouble is I've already looked in a couple of places today and had no luck.

I popped out this morning, still couldn't get a big enough pie dish, bought a deeper glass roaster with handles.

The pie was a triumph and has been added to my repertoire.
