Crock Pot/Slow Cooker Recommendations Please

Happy Christmas one and all.
Okay, so I'd like to treat myself to a Crock Pot/Slow Cooker in the looming January sales but which do I choose and what brand?
I want something obviously where I can just chuck in the raw ingredients the night before and set a timer to enable us to eat a steaming hot meal when we get in from work/nursery/school club.
Also I need something with the capcity to feed a family of five.
My other criteria, I don't just want stews/currys/chillis but something that I can cook roasts and vegtables too.
Is something with two seperate compartments preferable?
What are your recommendations please?
Thanking you in advance and Happy New Year.

There's a huge one in the Argos sale - lots of good reviews of it.
