I don't really enjoy it myself. It doesn't really add anything if you already have a decent bird.

More of a breast as opposed to thigh man, are we Unquiet?

I do my best to be a leg man on the day, but once a breast man always a breast man.

I always rely on a nice hot sausage at this time of year to keep me warm inside.

Any advance recommendations for Pancake Day while we are here? I've tried Delia's batter and Nigella's batter, but I've been told there is a more traditional cook from the 1970s who does a good recipe.

I am partial to a decent stuffing at Xmas too. It is always disappointing to be offered a chipolata instead.

When I saw the thread on here recently entitled "I've need to make my DH more like Father Christmas", I thought the OP meant that she wanted him to live thousands of miles away and only come once a year.
