Damn. Just found my meringues are best before 8th December

They are ready made ones from M&S. Will they be okay today for the kids or best not? TIA.

I think they'd be fine to be honest... if they look, smell and taste fine then they probably are :)

They'll be fine imo - its best before rather than eat by - they might just be a bit cardboardy.

I might make a meringue bomb so it won't matter if they are a bit dry.

Changed my mind about making the bomb. Too much faff for today.

Have meringues, am melting chocolate to go on them and thinking about what else I can put with them.

Ice cream and pears (tinned or fresh).
Pears and chocolate is a match made in heaven - we're having this combo for tea tonight.

Kids ate too quick.

They had meringues with frozen raspberries, melted chocolate and cream.
