I've recently purchased a slow cooker and up to now have only made a couple of broths. I'm thinking of making a half lamb leg (1kg) for sandwiches for boxing day visitors. Will this be okay and how would I do it? you wonderful Mnetters. Grin

Have you googled it? Loads of slow cooker recipes on the net. I love my slow cooker, but I have never done a leg of lamb in it.

I always do lamb in the oven, cooked long and slow, and it's lovely.

I know meat cooks relatively quickly (quicker than veg).

Good luck!

Thanks mummy, I've googled but can only find beef and pork. I'm going to have another ferret around and if I still can't find anything I'm just gonna do a long slow roast. (excited about slow cooker and trying to utilise it every way I can)
