I put my frozen 4kg turkey in the fridge at 6 o'clock this morning as I read that it would take at the most 48 hours in the fridge to defrost.
I've just had a look at it and it's still rock hard as frozen as 12 hours ago when I put it in,
I know there's a while to go yet but I would have thought it would at least start softening by now??
Then again am I being a mad pyscho panicking?? (dhs opinion)
At what point would you lift it out to defrost at room temp? I don't want to poison us all.
