how long will it keep for in the fridge? OH bought the most ridiculously large ham which would probably keep us going till New Year. Any ideas?

I wouldn't keep it in the fridge for more than a couple of days. But you can slice it and freeze it in more manageable portions. Hope this helps.

Normally about a week.

Ooh never thought about freezing it - good idea! So between 2 days and a week then...?

If you haven't already cooked it, could you cut it in half and cook half, freeze half?

It isn't like a normal joint, ham is cured. Definitely a week.
