Rescuing rock-hard flapjack

I made a big tray of flapjack which obviously stayed in the oven too long and are now completely tooth-shatteringly solid! Can I do anything to soften them up? Add this to a recent fudge disaster and I'm beginning to feel I've lost my kitchen mojo Xmas Sad

what would happen if you warmed it in the microwave a bit?

Do you think it would soften but you would have to eat it straightaway or it will go hard again.

That is the only thing i can think of.

Break it up and scatter over ice cream.
