I have a lovely one.

40z cranberries washed and picked over
3tblsp water
2oz sugar
1 tbls port or oranege juice (optional)

Put the cranberries in a saucepan with the water. Bring to the boil then simmer until the berries are tender about 4-5 mins. Add the sugar and cook gently until dissolved.

Remove from the heat and add the port or orange juice, if your using these. Either serve warm or freeze until required.
