I am not the best of cooks, but i do like to tryXmas Grin The only recent books i own are Jamie's Ministry of Food, and Fay Ripleys.

I was browsing in the bookstore, flicking through Nigella's and Delia's before getting totally confused. Which would be best for a beginner cook, who doesnt want to cook extravagent meals (as there is only me and two DDs) but who would love a Christmas book that could be used year after yearXmas Smile

If you are a beginner, I'd suggest Delia. her timings are pretty spot-on, and whilst not the most exciting read, the recipes are very reliable.

Delia is a solid starters book.

I have quite a lot of cookbooks, but no Xmas ones surprisingly.
