I'm trying Nigella's ham in coke and for a simple recipe its ca using loads of grief Confused
I had to dash out to buy a pan big enough and now I'm running late so can I take it off the hob )its been boiling for about an hour and I have to leave in 30 mins) and put it back on later.
And can I keep it till tomorrow before glazing and baking? How do I store it? In the coke? or just wrapped in tinfoil in the fridge?

Yes - will be fine. I'd let it cool in the coke - then depending on how late it is when its cooled either take out in fridge or if its cool in your kitchen it'll be fine overnight in the pan (probably keeps it more moist that way too). If you do fridge it - let it come out of fridge up to room temperature before you glaze and cook it.
