Sorry if this has been done before, but how long to cook a turkey crown? is it less than the same weight whole turkey?
i will have a 3.9kg turkey crown, according to I Love British Turkey it should cook in 2 1/2 hours, according to Food Standards Agency it should cook in 3 1/4 hours, which is a fairly big difference!
i would go with FSA rather than kill anyone but i don't want it to go all dried out and horrible.
This is the first year i have bought a turkey crown, can't really remember how long last year's turkey took, i had a few festive sherries along the way
