I need soup recipes for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Please give me your freezeable favourites. Nothing complex but I'm getting bored of broccoli and stilton soup as are my guests, I'm sure.

Mushroom and walnut? If you like the sound of that I'll type out the recipe, if not I won't bother!! It's gorgeous! And the walnuts sort of give it a Christmassy flavour....

Tom Yum with turkey
Smoked haddock chowder
Spiced butternut
Carrot and thyme
Celery and stilton

Cauliflower and almond.
Fennel and chickpea
Leek and tattie - you just can't beat it.

I do fancy some chowder now though, and wouldn't say no to the mushroom and walnut recipe please.

Mushroom and walnut sounds amazing.

In fact, they all sound great apart from the celery one.

I'll try googling them by name to see if recipes come up.

Lettuce soup? Sounds awful but is lovely

Lettuce soup? Really? Will give it a trial run. Would love to see people's faces when I tell them it's lettuce soup!

My husband hates celery, but loves celery and stilton soup. He's not the only one I know who hates celery but loves the soup.

Brussel sprout and chestnut is good. Sounds disgusting, I appreciate!

Sweet potato and sweetcorn

Lentil and lemon.

Carrot and coriander - obvious but still lovely
Butternut squash - very nice
Leek & Potato - yum
Fresh pea - mmmm
