if your kids were given a light tea such as scrambled eggs on toast at after school club, would you feed them again when they got home? they have tea about 5 and are picked up at 6.

hmm what do they have midday?

i don't think i would give them another meal, but if they haven't had much midday then i might give them a sandwich or something

misdee · 27/09/2005 17:15

i;d give them sandwiches if they were still hungry.

Gobbledigook · 27/09/2005 17:16

Sandwich, crumpets, scotch pancakes, toast - I'd give them something light like that.

gigglinggoblin · 27/09/2005 17:20

they are never hungry, if they havent had enough with the 1st helping they can have more if its there and if not they make them toast until they are full. was just wondering cos a teacher mentioned the other day they were going home to eat dinner and i thought o dear, mine arent! they sometimes have a snack when they get home but i thought they were probably ok with the afterschool tea. theyve never complained anyway

well if they aren't hungry then i'd let them be! they'd soon tell you if they wanted more
