Bottled something for Christmas hampers?

I need a recipe for something to bottle in small quantities for Christmas hampers please!

I have four 250ml glass bottles with rubber stoppers and quite small necks. I was planning on making chilli or garlic oil but a quick bit of googling and searching on Mumsnet reveals a risk of botulism unless you are very careful, so I don't want to take that risk!

Any other ideas? Don't mind alcoholic / non-alcholic / sweet / savoury. But something which doesn't need six months' infusing seeing as Christmas is almost here.

Thanks very much!

Tarragon vinegar is delicious and not available in the shops. Use the best white wine vinegar you can afford and plunge a good few sprigs of tarragon in, given you're nearly out of time, I'd leave the tarragon in there, with a note to fish it out after a month. I'd also attach a tag with a recipe for Tarragon mayo which you can make with it. Its divine.

Ooh, that sounds tasty. I'd like to be given that myself! Good idea - thanks.
