Followed recipe. Was making a double batch. Have shoved in oven but the batter was lumpy. Will it be ok? Is it meant to be lumpy. Stirred and stirred and stirred and even got whisk out. Still little lumps.

Sorry - didn't get back on as lost internet connection.

They look ok. One is for Xmas Bazaar at school so may cut it into 2 pieces as I will prob sell quicker and then I will be able to see inside.

What if they are full of tiny little hard bits, like the shot in a pheasant?

GandalfyCarawak · 10/12/2010 11:34

Shot in a pheasant? How posh are you? :o

Katisha · 10/12/2010 11:48

I am rahly rahly posh.

Mummy2Bookie · 10/12/2010 17:44

Oh riat!

SNOWmami · 11/12/2010 11:10

Oh no - only just seen this! I feel to blame Sad I don't think my batter has ever been lumpy, as such. All just melts together nicely. How did it turn out in the end Buda? Have you scoffed it all sampled it?

ABudafulSightWereHappyTonight · 14/12/2010 11:13

Well I finally got around to trying it yesterday and it is fine. There are some pale looking lumps in it but it hasn't affected the taste. So don't worry SNOWmami!
