I am sure i have read somewhere that when you puree chicken you need to wait until the chicken is completey cold (because if you puree it warm it reheats parts of the chicken again?) I have been through my ananble karmel book and can't find her saying anything about waiting for it to go cold? what do others do please? should i just puree it whilst its still warm after cooking or should i wait for chicken and veg mixture i have cooked to go cold first? i've got the flu and i am all confused

There is a recipe in my Anabel book for Chicken with Parsnips and beans that says "If freezing this recipe do not puree the chicken with the vegetablesuntil they are cold. It is important to avoid warming the chicken"

Not sure if this answers the question or complicates things

The thing is you don't want to reheat the chicken (as muppet says). So if your veggies and chicken are all hot, go ahead and puree them, and if they're all cold that's fine too. You want to avoid adding hot veg to cool or cold chicken.
