Bought a big one this morning, don't really know what to do with it, so would appreciate any ideas for transforming it into a substantial meal.

It's nice braised with pork, herbs and new potatoes, and possibly flageolet beans.

Chop it up really finely (shred it really) and deep fry and add a mix of salt and sugar. I read that this is what they do to get 'fried seaweed' in chinese reasaurants - tried it and think it must be true because it tastes just like the stuff in chinese reastaurants.

I thought you'd received your farmer's box. I got a large savoy cabbage.

Like the look of your recipe Dannie. Might do that this week!

I like it stir-fried with pork. You marinate the pork in rice wine, soy sauce and sesame oil, with a bit of cornflour.

Also, it's good stir fried with garlic, cumin, coriander and crushed chilis.
