Help feeding my 11 month old

Hi mumsnetters,
I have a 4 year old ds, and despite this can't seem to remember what I should be feeding ds2 who is 11months. Especially in regards to finger foods, and less baby mush type food?
Any advice welcome

They can eat anything at this age except honey

I think eggs are also not recommended until a year old

So, cereal, toast or crumpet for breakfast

Jacket with cheese, chopped veggies and fruit for lunch

Shepherds pie etc for dinner

Spaghetti or pasta is easy to grip

Huomus and breadsticks

Yoghurt - messy but fun

I do lots of eggs, just make sure they are well cooked. I do omlette with cheese just chopped up for ds to feed to himself, eggy bread, scrambled eggs etc

Also pasta shapes / spaghetti make great finger foods.
Bagels
Bananas
Blueberries
Almost any dinner we are having, will chop up meat and veg etc just no gravy
breadsticks
cubes of cheddar

Oh no he's already had eggs, but cooked dry.
Is it ok to give normal milk then at this age -with cereal?
He eats finger foods, but generally I feed him with a spoon, is this the age to let loose with a spoon or is it a bit older - I should know all this

I tend to use bisto or stock cubes and the salt levels are really high...the odd bit now and then but better not to really.

Whole milk is fine with cereal and to replace formula from 1 year. I'm still not brave enough to hand over the spoon but think I'll have to soon, he's grabbing for it!

He eats what we eat in general, just not too sure what he can chew with his limited teeth only 3.5 at the moment. With ds1 I bought loads of books about babies and feeding etc, but chucked them all out when they drove me nuts, now I am wishing I had them lol.

You will be surprised what they can manage with few or no teeth. Trial and error. Hth
