making it for dinner tonight, but there's so many variations I can't choose which one to use.....

What recipe do you use (if you eat it that is )

ok get a bit pot, fry off the onions and mushrooms if u want them in there, add gravey - DH and his mum use oxos only (3) I chuck granuals in worcester slauce if u want it, chop a tin of corned beef into largeish chunks and chuck them in the pot, then leave to simmer/stir it occasionally. then slice potatoes into thin (important they're realtivly thin) slices. and chuck thouse in( like crisp thins) leave to simemr for about 15/20 mins then serve in a big bowl with bread. DH loves it I ahte it - told thats the nothern way fo doing it - I beleive the southern way is to do it like sheppards pie but i've never made it like that.

mine is even simpler make mashed potato as normal add a tin of chopped corned beef and mash thru intil distributed and no more lumps put in dish and cover in grated cheese grill until bubbling -- serve with beans ... divine..

crumble up the corned beef into the bottom of the dish, pour beans over the top then spoon on the mashed potatoe. Cook until brown

Fry onion, add left over boiled potatoes and fry till crispy on the outside, add corned beef, fry a bit longer,and top with a runny poached egg. You can also add any other left overs you fancy.
