Made ovely slow roasted tomato soup a couple of months ago with remainder of tomatos from the garden.

Took it out yesterday and heated it tonight (would have been last night if not for DH getting so super pissed that he passed out after veing sick on the phone and other embarrassing exploits!) anyway - it I don't think can be called a soup - more a rich pasta sauce, ideally for lasagna - I said to Dh I would make a lasagna tomorrow and then freeze it as ILs coming and they don't eat pasta =- DH is sure that we will all die if I actually go ahead with this - I on the other hand think as long as it is heated thoroughly it will be ok.

Am I fooling myself will I kill the Castafiore Family off or would you risk it?

i think the general rule is you can freeze everything once - so given that you've already frozen it once, you wouldn't be able to freeze it again, sorry

I wouldn't feed it to children. Did you defrost it in the fridge when it came out of the freezer yesterday? Its quite a lot of heating up and cooling down isn't it? I would eat it myself but not give it to anyone else.
