how long does fudge keep?

if i make fudge now will it be ok for christmas? am a novice with fudge-making!

also, peppermint creams..?

Fudge freezes brilliantly, and defrosts in minutes, if cut into pieces before you freeze. This is what i normally do.

Not sure about peppermint creams, but don't see why they should be any different.

unfortunately i want to make some for the in-laws who are visiting next week, as part of a christmas hamper. so i can't tell them to shove it in the freezer when they get home

maybe i'll err on the side of caution and just post the whole lot down nearer the time

freezing will be good for the stuff i am giving my own family tho, so thanks for hte tip

I tried making fudge last year and it was a nightmare! what recipe do you use, thisisyesterday, and is it easy? I loooove fudge!

um, i have never made it before, haven't even found myself a recipe yet! lol

i was going to look on the good food website, as everything i've ever made from there has turned out well lol

oooh well good luck! Here's a tip - dont make it in a lecrueset saucepan!
