How much food does your 17/18 month old eat?

My dd was 9lb 2 at birth and now 14kg at 17 mo so has always been v big and also v hungry! If left to her she would eat all the time.

I feed her roughly: cup of milk on waking, breakfast (small bowl of baby museli or 1/2 weetabix or 1 small slice of toast); snack and drink e.g. orange or handful of chopped dates and nuts or 1 small biscuit; lunch (cheese and crackers, or small portion of hot meal like fish pie or macaroni cheese or pasta & tomato); snack - see morning; tea (see hot lunch options); bottle of milk before bed.

Is this too much Confused? I'm not sure if I'm heading towards making her a fat child or if she is just a bit of a chubby baby.

How much do u feed urs?

Ta for any feedback.

Doesn't sound too much at all - it sounds very similar to what I feed my 17 month old. I've no idea what he weighs - he is on the slim side compared to others his age though, but very active

Her diet sounds pretty healthy to me - I woulnd't be too concerned if I were you

Doesn't sound too much. My ds ate a lot more than that at 18 months, 2 wheetabix for breakfast, 2 course lunch and tea Grin. He was (and still is) very active and skinny as a rake.

If she's not overweight, don't worry. She sounds like she is getting a nice healthy diet.

Thanks for the reassurance :)
