What can I do with these? Apart from making pate?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Pan fried with caramelised onions on a bed of crisp lettuce with a balsamic & alcohol dressing - depends what you have would recomend sherry or brandy - deglaze the pan with them and drizzle over the top. Possibly with some roasted cherry tomatoes and roasted pine nuts??

Thanks for that Bootsmonkey. Shall give it a try.

My dh loves these, but I've only done pate so far.

How long should they be panfried for bootsmonkey?

bootsmonkey · 22/09/2005 12:03

No idea! Depends on whether you like them pink or not. (I've never tried this BTW!)

puff · 22/09/2005 12:07

Ok, would just test as I go along then!

Puff there is a good recipe for chicken liver salad in AWT. It's with calves liver but you can use chicken livers instead. It's gorgeous

puff · 22/09/2005 21:21

Great, thanks Saker! I don't like calves liver, but do like chicken livers, so will swap in the recipe .
