It was pastry, with jam then cornflakes on top? Served with lumpy custard naturally??

Ours didn't have jam - more a butterscotch-type layer.

Talking of which, butterscotch pie with custard, mmmm. Dunno how you make it though

Ohhh the cornflakes r mixed with golden syrup or honey can't remember which n put over a big jam tart yum

I think it was lemon curd on top of the pastry, then the cornflake mixture on the top.

Sorry don't have the recipe but there was definately golden syrup mixed with the cornflakes.

My aunty used to work in a school kitchen so maybe she'll have the recipe ...
