Belly pork question

I'm obsessed with the stuff. At the moment I'm buying the slabs of stuff from Sainsburys and trying to get them perfect. Blush

It comes in pieces about 8 inches by 8 inches.

But I went to the market today and they only sold slices. About 8 inches by 1 inch.

What do you do with those? How do you get a good crackling on them cos they'll fall over in the roasting tin, surely?

So you do them on their sides? Does the crackling still come up?

Have them grilled. We generally have them in the summer barbecued.
