Have made Yorkshire Pudding batter this evening. But have made too much.

Can I freeze the remaining batter?

You can but it will separate and need re-whisking on defrost.

Alternatively freeze as pancakes that can be microwaved or as cooked and cooled yorkshires that only need 4 mins in a hot oven from frozen to serve.

It is savoury batter and not that keen on savoury pancakes. And premade Yorkies are too big for the freezer space left.

Have frozen the batter and will see how it goes.

Thank you.
