Food processor?

I don't own one and not sure if I need one. I have a hand blender that I use for soups. I have a bigger stand alone blender that I hardly use, it also has a smaller attachment that was advertised for chopping up nuts - I do use that sometimes.

Have just seen a recipe I want to do and it says to put some onion, ginger, garlic in a food processor and whizz to a paste. Will my nut chopper do that or do I need an actual processor.

Was looking at this if I do need one

And this is the blender I have already. Really unsure what the difference is between the small blender attachment and the processor?
