....For DD who is 1.5 and will eat pretty much anything. Needs to be ready in 10 mins max, so we do a lot of pasta / scrambled egg / sandwich / toast / defrosted mash and cold meat. Doesn't need to be fancy, but looking for new ideas please!!!!!

Thanks

pizza bagettes/bread. cut bagette in half, and cover with a little tomato puree, sprinkle on cheese and roughly broken up bits of ham, pop under the grill,

could you freeze meals like cottage pie, defrost over the day to cook in microwave, add lots of carrots and peas for extra healthiness

Something from slow cooker. Ready the second you walk through the door!

pitta bread (or those mini pitta breads)
some cheesey vegetable muffins
beans on toast
a portion of shepheards pie / lasagne / casserole etc heated up in the microwave

depends what my 2 have eaten on a nursery day - dd (2.6)is much more picky and may not have eaten much but will be tired from having not slept. Ds (1.2) will have eaten the nursery out of supplies, but will have slept well and be up for another meal.
Popular options here are:

home-made rice pudding from the freezer (I still freeze this in ice-cube portions)
frozen berries and mango cubes (bought, v.cheap), frozen cubes of stewed apple, pear, dried apricot etc. If you chuck the fruit in to the rice pud it's quick to nuke and so full of calories that they are full after a small amount if tired
home-made macaroni cheese (frozen)
home-made salmon fishcakes (frozen)
toasted fruit/cinnamon sliced loaf with cream cheese or lashings of butter(freezer)
cheese and crackers
fresh fruit
scrambled egg and toast
spanish-style omelette/frittata
eggy bread
cheesy baked beans

if all else fails, a banana and half a pint of warm milk!

Keep some batter mix in the fridge and then you can knock them up a pancake with fruit or cheese.
