Freezing cooked potato?

I have about 30 halved cooked baked potatoes (aftre a church event thing) that I can't bear to throw out. Can I freeze them? do they need mashing first - or any (easy) suggestions for using them and freezing them?

I've never frozen baked potatoes but why not give it a whirl
