I usually shop in Asda but these 2 supermarkets are nearer. However according to my supermarket they don't sell lassi but I'm sure they must?

Just realised lassi is just milk, yoghurt and fruit in the blender. I can't believe I've spent money on these drinks for so long!!

I don't think so BUT I make mango lassi by blitzing yoghurt, fresh or canned mango, milk and a tiny bit of icing sugar - it's lovely.

I think I have a recipe for a pomegranate one somewhere too.

Gosh, I've no idea!

Two fresh mangoes or one tin - a big pot of natural yog and a drizzle of milk to start, then add more milk/icing sugar as needed. Serve it over loads of ice because lukewarm yog is vile.

I've got a smoothie maker that crushes ice mmmmm

Also nice with the seeds of a cardamom whizzed in, and a tiny dab of salt instead of the sugar.

Shock you BOUGHT lassi!!?!!

Wink

Large dollop yogurt per person, add sugar to taste, slosh of water, whizz then pour over ice.

Rose-flower water is lovely in it, and chopped pistacios on top.

Well I'd never drunk it before. I was in Asda the other day and went to the juice and squash aisle which I don't do normally and it was on the end. I thought it looked interesting so bought it and loved it. Didn't really know what it was or what was in it just that I liked it!

Morrissons sell it.

Never seen it in either of those supermarkets but would rather buy a tin of mango puree and makes absolutely loads fresh (sort of).
