can I freeze left over butter icing?

just made way too much butter icing - can I freeze whats left or will I have to chuck it?

I would think so as you can freeze butter.

yes I often do this - just needs to be defrosted at room temp and then a little stir and will be just like new and ready to use!

yes
I always freeze butter icing as I never weigh out the ingredients before hand and always end up with way too much

it tastes just as good after freezing

yy i also always have way too much left over,as mentioned just defrost at room temp then give it a good stir
