Sweet/snack ideas to take to bonfire party

Going to a friend's for a small bonfire party with preschoolers tomorrow - just wondered if anyone has any ideas about something that I can cook and take with me. Something like cinder toffee, but that makes me feel a bit nervous for some reason!!

Any suggestions very gratefully received Grin

I'm just back from one. Made a bastatrdized version of Nigella's sweet and salty choc fridge cake. If its preschoolers and you're worried about the nuts, just replace with dried apricots or more digestives:

For a 20cm sq tin lined with greasproof:

In a bain marie, melt 300g milk choc, 4 tbspn golden syrup and 125g butter slowly

In a freezer bag, bash up 250g digestives and 2 large crunchie bars.

In large bowl, combine biscuit crumb mix and choc mix and stir in 100g sultanas and 100g salted peanuts.

Decorate bonfire stylie with some edible glitter on top.

Press into tin and refrigerate for 2 hours before cutting into squares.

Oh I like it, great idea! Loving the edible glitter, although that does involve a speedy trip to the supermarket tomorrow morning... Although useful thing to have in cupboard, especially considering we have preschool cake sale next week!! Thanks Grin
