Hi
Seen dietician today and she suggested muelsi for brekkie. With fruit and nat yogurt. I'm sure I saw someone make this the other day on the tv but can't remember what she used? She said you can make a weeks worth and keep it. Seem to remember apple juice but not much else.
Any ideas????
Thanks

I make with oats, pumkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds and dried apricots, just keep in a tupperware container. Much nicer than shop bought.

muesli is a case of getting a bowl and throwing in some oats (not instant!) and then adding all your favourite dried things I use pumkins seeds, sunflower seeds and some chopped brazil nuts and some sultanas and other dried fruit apricot is nice... keep in a jar -- last ages..

then to make it up you can either soak over night in milk or yoghurt or apple juice -- I never remember even though I have it every day! and then add some fresh fruit such as chopped bananas apples etc...

Divine....

I get organic rolled or porridge oats, puffed rice (you can get plain unsugared stuff in teh 'gluten free' aisle) 1/2 and 1/2 of these. I add a pack of asda 'extra special' seed and nut mix (or just nuts, pumpkin and sunflower seeds) and a pack of asda extra special fruit mix (cranberies, cherries, sultanas, raisins etc) I just do that with milk, leave for a couple of mins to soak. sometimes I add some demerara sugar !!
