Antipasti ideas please?

For ten people, to precede a spinach and ricotta lasagne with pine nuts which is being served with salad and nice home made bread.

Roasted peppers in a bit of olive oil with feta cheese crumbled on top

marinated olives

Chorizo in red wine

Fried halloumi with chilli and lemon

Prawns in garlic or piri piri

salt and pepper squid

Garlic mushrooms

crostini

I have a bit of an aritchoke heart addiction at the moment.

Slices of parma ham, chorizo, salami, pastrami.

Olives

tapenade with breadsticks or crackers

Are you near a lidl? They have lovely Greek ones. The hot peppers stuffed with cheese are lovely. Can't remember what the others are, there are about 5 or 6 types in little plastic boxes.

Also olives, thinly sliced meats, thin slices of smoked fish, especially like smoked salmon wrapped round cream cheese with really strong horseradish. Also marinated vegetables, not exactly pickled ones, much less sharp.

Would you still serve chhese as a starter when you ahve cheese in the main?
