Veggies and Meat eaters together

Hi everyone,

Quick intro as this is my first post. I live in France with hubby and 4 kids (12,10,3 and 8 months.) My life seems soooo disorganised at the mo - so starting with meal planning! 2 of us are veggies, the others LOVE their meat. Does anyone have super quick and easy recipes that can have a bit of meat 'popped in' at the end? (need to be able to prepare them mid afternoon too as once all home from school it is just tooooo mad)! Also, any tried and tested veggie slow cooker recipes.

Thanks for your help,

Liz

Pasta and tomato based sauce - can add meatballs or fried chorizo for meat eaters.

Macaroni cheese - could have with bacon grilled on top but nice without.

Vegetable curry and rice - chicken tandoori or tikka pieces on the side. Make big batch of curry and freeze, chicken marinated in yoghurt and spices and roasted.

We're having veggie chilli today with bbq sausages for the meat eaters today. Often do stir fry and just some prawns/chicken separately for those who want it. We had calzones yesterday, the meaty ones had some parma ham in them. Is that any use?

Good ideas thanks. Going to do a veggie chillie tomorrow - trying to warm us up a bit!!!

Have a nice evening.
