Ikea, the one that you grate straight into a container

Bog standard box grater Ikea or anywhere else. Keep an eye out for microplane graters when Lidl have them. We got a brilliant one there for under £3.

You can get brilliant ones that you pop the cheese in and then rotate the handle to turn the grater so that you don't shred your fingers. My mum had one in the 70s; I think it's called a mouli. The only place I've seen them though is in Harry Tuffins (supermarket chain on Welsh borders) but I'm sure you'd be able to find other stockists somewhere.

OK thanks everyone so I'll go for the ikea or microplane (if i see it in lydl). Mrs columbo believe it or not have a mouli, for parmasan but it is a bit rusty and and I'm not sure how to bring it back. I got it at a car boot as my mum had one to0!
