Help - I need a cake recipe for a 9" square cake tin

I need a nice recipe for a birthday cake, either chocolate or plain is fine. Intending to cut the cake into quarters to make 4 smaller square cakes.

I need a sponge cake recipe. I have 8"x3" 10"x3" and 12X3" cake tins. I am making a 3 tier cake
Any help will be much appreciated.

9 inch square tin:-

350g butter or marg
350g caster sugar
350g sr flour
7 eggs
1tsp vanilla extract

160oc/3150f/gas mark 2-3
for approx 1hr 15mins

cheeky are your tins square or round?
